New Deputy CEO at Mauritius Telecom

National telephony and internet provider Mauritius Telecom will soon get a Deputy Chief Executive – the latter being appointed by its main partner Orange.

Michel Degland, who was until recently CEO of Orange Madagascar is being replaced by Frederic Debord, who was CEO of Orange Cameroon.

Degland will replace Claire Paponneau, who has been Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer of MT since 2016.

Orange said all the appointment is part of a major reshuffle at Orange, in agreement with its local partners. The appointment will reportedly become effective in September.
