92 new COVID-19 cases over last 24 hours

It just does not seem to stop. After over 100 cases were recorded on Thursday evening, the Ministry of Health has announced that 92 new cases for COVID-19 were recorded on Friday evening.

Fifty-six cases were detected on Day 5 in a dormitory in La Tour Koenig operating under quarantine. The residents of this dormitory hadreportedly no contact with the local community.

Twenty-five cases were detected in COVID-19 Testing Centers, 7 cases were detected via ongoing Contact Tracing exercises and 4 cases were detected on Day 7 (quarantine).

The total count from March 5 till July 16 was 1,927. Some 1,245 people were considered cured and were allowed to return home.

The country currently has 660 active cases of COVID-19.
