Alert: Fake licenses and certificates with FSC logo

The Financial Services Commission has issued a warning that an entity bearing the name of Binary Fxcent is issuing fake certificates bearing the logo of the FSC to members of the public.

These fake certificates are also said to bear the false signature of a former Chief Executive of the FSC.

The FSC has cautioned that Binary Fxcent and/or any other individuals, or representatives or promoter groups operating under this name are not and have not, at any point in time, been authorised to issue any licences or certificates on behalf of the FSC.

“The FSC therefore urges the public to exercise caution when dealing with Binary Fxcent and with any other associated individuals and/or entities allegedly claiming to provide licences or certificates on behalf of the FSC,” it said.
