When the Supreme Court says 'No' to Bhadain

The Supreme Court has turned down the application of Reform Party’s Roshi Bhadain to have recourse to the Privy Council to challenge its decision.

In their judgment, Judges Nirmala Devat and Iqbal Maghooa rejected his motion as part of his election petition against the Electoral Supervisory Commission and the Election Commissioner.

According to l’Express, Bhadain wanted to challenge an earlier verdict of the two judges for rejecting his motion for judicial review in order to contest the results of the 2019 general elections.
