The Economic Development Board may soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Seychelles Investment Board (SIB) to enhance cooperation between the two entities.

The agreement also intends to facilitate ‘Outward Direct Investment’ to Seychelles from Mauritius through the creation of a dedicated desk within the SIB.

According to the MoU, SIB would also be expected to provide aftercare services to operational businesses to support them with business expansions/re- investments.
