A rather strong anticyclone to the south west of the Mascarenes is maintaining a cold air mass over our region. It will cause a drop in temperature of about 3 degrees Celsius.

At the same time clouds linked to the anticyclone are expected to influence the local weather as from Monday. It could also rain in the south, east and over the central plateau.

The temperature will vary between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius over the highgrounds and between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius along the coastal regions.

Gusts could reach 55 km/h in open areas. Sea is expected to be moderate beyond the reefs, becoming gradually rough as from Monday with South-Westerly swells of the order of 2 metres 50.

Ventures in the open seas as well as in the southern and eastern lagoons are not advised as from Monday.
