Police officers shocked by colleague’s transfer orders

Officers at the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of Vacoas are said to be outraged after their colleague, Police Sergeant Nooran Ahamudally received his transfer orders and was reassigned to Curepipe CID with immediate effect, Defi Media reported.

PS Ahamudally was the “lead investigator” in the case of alleged assault, on May 31, against the Nandoo family by a gang of 20 people, allegedly led by Vishal Shibchurn, said to be henchman of the MSM ruling party.

Shibchurn had allegedly threatened “to act” once released.
