Some 219 questions set to Ministers by opposition MPs were left unanswered since Parliament resumed in March 2021, according to l’Express.

It said many other hundreds were also not answered in 2020.

One of such questions relate to the recruitment of the ex-Chairman of the State Trading Corporation, Jonathan Ramsamy.

The latter was forced to resign after being allegedly to using his office for gratification and favouritism over controversial emergency procurements during the 2020 lockdown.

Other questions on public expenditures and salaries were also snubbed.
