Get ready for poor internet connection as from next week

Households and businesses have been warned that current works on the SAFE cable could considerably impact internet connection as from next week.

Defi Media reported that maintenance works are planned on the South Africa Far East (SAFE) fiber optic submarine cable as from Monday May 24 and would last nine days.

“They will affect internet connection in Mauritius,” it reported.

The SAFE cable connects Mauritius to South Africa on one side and Mauritius to India on the other.
