Payment by MCB cards up by 43%

The number of MCB customers using their cards for e-commerce has increased by 43% between March 2020 and March 2021, Defi Media reported, citing figures released by the bank.

During the same period, contactless transactions are said to have soared by 500%.

MCB also claimed that it JuiceByMCB App has 385,000 users and registered 200% increase in transactions during the same period.

A growth of 19% was also reportedly noted in terms of purchase value, the bank said.
